During the early phases of the fixture Wanderers spent large spells in Banff's 22 and were unlucky not to score early on.

Wanderers then got the ball in hand through the backs after that and Iain Lyndon scored a nicely worked try under the posts. He also slotted over the conversion as well to make it 7-5 to Wanderers.
HT - Banff 5 Wanderers 7
Into the second half and Banff scored a penalty early on yo make it 8-7 to Banff.
Leo Peerless scored a try right in the corner to make it 12-8 to Wanderers. Iain Lyndon missed what was a difficult kick.
The game continued end to end but Banff managed to score close to the end of the match to make it 13-12 to Banff at full time.
A very close game where Wanderers didn't capitalise on early possession and a strong back line. Banff played to their strengths in the forwards.
On another day this could have been a win. Plenty to work on but plenty positives as well.
Iain Lyndon was voted Man of the Match by the Banff players in the clubhouse after.
The next match is at home vs the Aberdeen University Medics.
