With a large crowd at Groats Road, Wanderers played their last home game of the season in a high scoring victory against Banff scoring 11 tries with two players scoring hat tricks.
The match kicked off at a frantic pace with Gabe Liddle scoring a hatrick of tries within 12 minutes which most likely will be one of the few that has done that so quickly. Stuart McAusland missed the first two conversions but he was successful with the 3rd making it 17-0 after only 15 minutes.
Angus Clark scored his 6th try of the season shortly after with Stuart McAusland scoring the conversion taking it to 24-0
Before half time there were 2 tries from Iain Lyndon and one from Finlay Smeaton, plus one conversion from Finlay. Banff also pulled one converted try back before half time from an interception.

The second half was a bit slower, and it took until around 20 mins for old boy Rob McLean to score his first try of the season. Conversion missed. 46 – 7.
Ted Allen then popped up to score his 5th of the season with a conversion from Stuart McAusland again taking it to 53-7.
Greg Gaunlett was up next to score with another conversion from Stuart taking it to 60-7.

The final try of the day was scored by Iain Lyndon to get his hat trick and also to put him level on tries at 8 with Arif Muhammad in the try leader board.
There were several contenders for MOTM but it was given to Gabe Liddle for his fast hat trick and general play.

A notable debut for Christian Aitken stepping up from the Under 18s to have an impressive game off the bench.
