The Wanderers season 24-25 came to an end on the 24th of May with the annual Scotland vs Rest of the World being played.

This fun, but competitive fixture has been played internally since 2008 bringing together first team, up and coming young players, ex players and a few vets/coaches who want 5 mins again on the field. The President even made a guest appearance at full back , with the vice president at back row and the head coach at prop.

The teams lined up with John Glendinning captaining the Scotland team and Irishman Ricky Simms captaining the Rest of the World Team.

With passports checked and some tenuous links to countries or origin, the Rest of the World team managed to field a strong team.

The game was fluid as has been the case in most seasons with end to end action and with a lot of tries being scored.

The final score (we think) was 73 – 55 in favour of the Rest of the World Team.

A triumphant Ricky Simms accepted the Saltire Projects Quaich from President Matthew Allen. The Quaich made the short trip over to the Park Café for the annual dinner where it was filled up and passed round all the guests.
