Granite City beat Dundee 45-0 with the team managing to score 13 unanswered tries. The first score came after only 28 seconds when Sebastian Aitken broke through a couple of tackles to score the first try of the game, this was the first of 9 tries that were scored in the first half with Granite City being lethal from any turnover ball. The second half was cut short due to the score, but Granite City still managed to score another 4 tries and more impressively keep a clean sheet!
Overall a good performance with everyone putting in a good shift, forwards were dominant and as a team we were very clinical with the ball and managed to capitalise on nearly every Dundee error. It was also good to see Matthew Stevenson and Ayush Kushe scoring their first competitive tries for the team along with a score from Matthew Deans who scored a magnificent TRY (he bribed me to say this) but seriously he made a good run from the ruck to score his try as well as a nice back of the hand pass to set up a try. After not scoring against Deeside/Garioch Leo Peerless made up for it by scoring a hattrick, there was also a brace for Finlay MacLean and Sebastian Aitken as well as tries for Ben McGregor, Johnny Cadden and Jack Marlow.
