Great attacking play on show

Granite City managed to produce an excellent all round display with a perfect blend of power from the forwards and excellent running from the backs to produce a convincing 60 - 15 victory over Gordonstoun. Granite City opened the scoring after 3 minutes when they scored a great try down the wing with the ball being shipped out to Leo Peerless to score a great team try, and the tries didn't stop there with another 8 being scored in the first half to give a half time score of 32-8.

Credit to Gordonstoun who never gave up and started the 2nd half strong trading early tries with Granite City before we pulled away at the end to win 60-15, the result was even more impressive as Brodie picked up an injury after 15 minutes and Granite City played the final 45 minutes with only 14 men!

There was plenty of strong performances across the field but a shout out to Ayush who played scrum half for the first time and managed to give the backs quick ball throughout and to Leo Peerless who scored 7 tries!! Man of the match goes to Johnny Cadden who had a monster of a game scoring 5 tries and leading the way in defence with some big tackles.
