Wanderers only had 13 available, so started 13-a-side with No Flankers.
Unfortunately lost influential player Craig Reid to serious injury within first 5 mins.
Dropped to 12-a-side. No Flankers or No 8.

A much closer contest than previous match last weekend v Mackie at home, However Mackie still ran out as very comfortable winners in the end.
First 10 mins was evenly matched, some good physicality in defence from both sides.
Mackie scored 1st on the 10 min mark, then scored again shortly after.
Wands however didnt let their heads go down and responded well with a well worked try following some good passing to put Ruben in space down the right wing.
5 mins later Campbell then chased down his own chip over the Mackie defensive line to score under the posts.
20 mins in and it was even.
Mackie came straight back with another try to take the lead again, and for the next 10 mins it was a very close contest.
Towards the end of the 1st Half though, as Wands tired, Mackie started to pull away and managed to score 3 more times before half time:

Half time talk was of a much improved performance over last week and to simply keep going, avoid silly penalties, put the ball into the extra space available with reduced numbers on the pitch.
Wands responded well and within 4 minutes from the restart got another the try through some strong running by Jakub down the left wing and under the posts.
Score Mackie 38 v Wands 21 and Wands were still right in the game.
However with no subs to call on, Wands were tiring and from the 45 min mark Mackie ran in another 5 x unanswered tries over a 15 min period.
Now half way through the 2nd half the score was Mackie 71 v Wands 21 - Development match was called as 50 point difference was hit.
Mackie loaned a couple of players and put 2 x extra guys into their team to make it 14-a-side and the game continued.
The last quarter of the match was now a much more even affair with Wands the next to score - twice through Charlie & Fergus, with Mackie then scoring twice themselves before the final whistle.

A much improved effort from Wanderers against a strong Mackie side, with great effort from all the individual players, especially with no subs.
Still not enough communication across the squad, need to identify the space and pass the ball to put players into the space.
Some poor decision making meant missed opportunities to score, started strong, but loose shape in both defence and attack once tired.
Strong performance from Bruno in only his 4th ever match of rugby! Picking it up fast.
Great to also have new squad Member Tim on the touchlines supporting his new teammates.
