A much improved performance from the U-13’s today who worked very hard and were unlucky to come away with a loss today.

Wands started on the back foot and needed some strong forward play and counter rucking to fend off the Dundee threat. Following a good turnover at the ruck AIDEN JEPP was able to make a superb line break to put the wands ahead. KEIR KIDD’s conversion was good to put the wands 7-0 up. A lapse in concentration allowed Dundee a simple score almost immediately followed by a second to put Dundee ahead 7-14. STRUAN NICHOLSON scored a great try for the wands again following some strong rucking from the forwards quickly followed by his 2nd try following a score from Dundee to put the wands up 21 - 19 going into the final period. KEIR KIDD’s boot was solid as he converted both tries. A slow start to the final period saw the wands go behind losing 3 tries. Wands finished strongly with some nice offloading which saw CLEMENT DE CACQUERAY score a fine try for wands who can be proud of their efforts throughout.
