If 3 tries is a hat trick what do you call 4?

2 x 15 minute halves.
Howe of Fife were short of players, having only 12 available.
With agreement of Howe coaches Wands loaned 3 x players to Howe to enable a 15-a-side match to be played, meaning only 1 x Wands sub had to sit out the first half and shiver on the touchlines during the increasingly cold and windy conditions.
Players to be complimented for not moaning (too much) when asked to play for the opposition.

Despite the best efforts of the Wands guys playing for Howe and relishing the chance to have a go against their teammates, this was a pretty one-sided 15 minutes with Wands continuing their slick passing and aggressive running angles from the first match.
Wands ran in 8 x tries altogether, 4 alone from Fergus! with Fin MacIntrye, Sam Wallis and Craig also scoring.
Successful conversions form Cam (3) and Fin McIntyre (1) saw the half time score of:
Wands 28 : Howe 0

At Half time the coaches rotated out the wands players playing for Howe, putting some playmakers into key positions for Howe with orders not to go easy on their teammates in order to better balance the 2 x squads.
2nd half proved a much tighter battle with just the 1 x try from none other than Fergus (unconverted) for Wands and Howe battling back to score 3 x tries. 2 touched down by Wands players (Sam & Josh), and 1 x successful conversion from Cam.

Final Score:
Wands 31 : Howe of Fife 10.

A good second win of the day for the guys in a well contested and good-natured match.
Good team spirit displayed across both matches, with Wands subs on the touchlines actively cheering on their teammates and players volunteering to play for the opposition helping to ensure good quality matches.
Big thanks to Jan Jenkins for providing a big batch of delicious home baked brownies for the boys, these went down a treat in between games and no doubt helped the guys keep their energy levels up.

Also nice to get some positive feedback from the receptionist at the sports centre where the boys were using the changing rooms, praising Wanderers players for all being so polite and saying thankyou as they left the building.
