Wands U13 v Deeside (friendly)

A good performance by Wanderers in their first competitive outing as U13's and after a very long period of no matches enforced by Covid.
3 good tries scored by Wanderers:
1 x try scored by Samuel Wallis, a long range effort run in from the half way line.
1 x try scored by Aiden Buckthorpe, run in after a cheeky midfield interception.
1 x close distance try scored by Matthew Herbert after a powerful drive and dive over the line.
But ultimately Deeside proved too strong on the day, scoring 5 tries of their own and benefitting from quicker support at the breakdown.
Match played as 15 - a -side to give all players on both side as much game time as possible.
No conversions were taken.
