The U13s welcomed Dundee to Groats road today. An excellent game was refereed by James Bell and watched by many parents and coaches alike. The game, which was played in great spirit, was spilt into 3 x 15 minute periods and all the boys got at least one full period.
GCC were the winners 18-7, with tries from Andrew Bell, Dylan Lennox, Thomas Ewan and 2 from Angus Morrison who also slotted 3 conversions. Dundee replied with 2 tries and 1 conversion. There was a lot of good tackling and support play. However rucking and alignment can improve. After the match the boys were treated to soup, bread, pasta and juice in the clubhouse provided by the U14s parents, which was warmly appreciated. A good first game.
