The WOMBATs had their first outing of the season to Forfar to play Strathmore in the Lochside 10s.

Since all the other over 35s teams had pulled out it was agreed to have a 30 minute match between the two teams.

Strathmore won 22 - 17 scoring 4 tries in an end to end match.

Post match both teams enjoyed watching the Lions beat Australia to take the series.
