In Aberdeenshire's 150th Anniversary the WOMBATs took part in a vets festival with Aberdeenshire, the Viking Baa Baas (Orkney/Caithness combined) and Mackie Mammoths

WOMBATs drew with the Viking Baa Baas and lost to Aberdeenshire.

Many of the team played for Mackie, Shire and the Viking Baa Baas on the day in true rugby spirit. Some were even mad enough to then play for Wanderers 1sts after that.

They didn't end up playing Mackie as both teams were short of players by the end of the day and had all been helping other teams too.

That brings to a close to the summer vets games and we'll have a think about something in the winter.
