Granite City are 2nd in the League going into the October Break in Fixtures

This past weekend saw the completion of the first half of the Lancer Conference League for the tier 3 clubs with Granite City currently sitting second in the overall club conference. Granite City have 69 club points and are behind Mackie Rugby, who currently have 89. However, Mackie have already played their second round against Gordonstoun, so we at Granite City are not that far behind. We are closely followed by Ellon who are in third place with 65 points.

(Lancer Conference Club League Table - 8th October 2018)

The club conference points are made up by how all the teams perform in each round and individual tables are created for the Under 15s, Under 16s and Under 18s teams.

Granite City U18s are current sitting top of their individual table with the maximum 18 points as they have been undefeated so far this season. While are Under 15s and Under 16s are both sitting fourth in very close tables for their age groups.

No age group table is created for the Under13s or Under 14s, however both teams are doing well in their matches, with the Under 14s winning all their games, bar one, this season.

The league now takes it’s autumn break, due to the school holidays, and the Granite City teams are back in action on 4th November 2018, where they meet Ellon in Aberdeen.
