U18's win Shield semi-final

Granite City U18's win Shield semi-final against Madras U18's in St Andrews. Granite City were the first to score and apart for a few minutes early on when Madras drew level Granite City were always ahead in this match. Madras did not make it easy and played some solid hard rugby to remain within two scores until the last quarter when Granite City were able to pull away and achieve what was in the end a comfortable scoreline (28-57). There were some great individual performances but this win was down to the whole squad and some great execution and team play. This win means that Granite City u18's are through to the Caley Shield final on 29th April were they will play Orkney/Caithness.
