Granite City Colts U18 win QF tie

The Granite City Colts U18's win QF tie against Gordonstoun School at Rubislaw in what was a well contested match. The Colts had to soak up a lot of pressure from the start but the defence stood firm for most of the match. We were able to take our scoring chances when they came with tries through Lam Rongonui, Liam Buchan and Scott Byars, with one conversion from Finlay Munro and built up a 17-0 lead with four minutes to go. Gordonstoun were not willing to give up, kept pressing and managed to cross the line twice. It wasn't enough though and the Colts won the tie 17-12 and now progress to the semi-final of the BT Caledonia U18 Cup.
