Yesterday evening the U18's secured the Saltire Caledonia Cup (Plate Final) in a close game v Gordonstoun under lights on the Dyce Astro Pitch.
Wands won the first half 4 Tries to 2 but Gordonstoun came back in the second scoring 4 tries to Wands 2. With successful conversions from both teams, a 1st half Wands Penalty was the only difference going into the last few minutes. The team showed great resilience to hold out for the win.
Final score Wands 39 - Gordonstoun 36.
A large group of Wands supporters witnessed a great game with a tense but successful outcome.
A great way for some of the older players to end their time with the Youth team as they transition to the adult game.
