An Aberdeen Wanderers Player represents the club in a guard of honour for the Web Ellis Cup

As part of the preparation for the World Cup later this year, the Webb Ellis Cup has been touring the world and paid a flying visit to Aberdeen Airport before being flown up to Orkney.

Aberdeen Wanderers were invited to send a youth player along to form a guard of honour for the cup along with players from other North East clubs.

Kieran Cochran went along from the club and met with Chris Patterson, Mike Monro and other representatives from Scottish Rugby and the RFU as part of this special event. Kieran and the other players were allowed to view and take pictures of the the cup, but touching was not allowed!
