The guests arrived at Groats Road and met for a welcome drink and socialised with each other as well as committee members and players from the club. Lunch was then served across the road at the Hazlehead Park Café before returning to pitch side to watch our 1st XV play Strathmore in our penultimate league game of the 2017/18 season.

Unfortunately, the game didn’t go our way with the visitors winning 26 points to nil, however, the game was great to watch for the spectators on the busy side lines.

After the game, the sponsors and spectators stayed back to chat to the players from both teams and award the sponsor’s Man of the Match award. This week’s Saltire Projects’s Man of the Match was Craig Strachan, who is supported by Willy Thomson.
