Today Aberdeen Wanderers RFC took part in the Royal Bank of Scotland Rugby Force Day.
We had an amazing turn out with several members of the club coming along to take part in the event.
Thank you to all of the volunteers that came along to support the club today, it was great to see so many of you showing your support.
The clubhouse has been thoroughly cleaned and the containers have been sorted. On top of this, both of the new pitches have been lined and the bases for the new posts have been installed.
We look forward to starting the new season with two pitches, and we are excited for our new posts to so we can complete the work on our club.
“We’ve achieved so much today in preparation for the coming season. Now that we have two pitches the club, we will be able to have more rugby being played at our facility. With the work done today, and the pitch maintenance completed over the summer, Groats Road is ready to host our Caledonia games as well as the Granite City and Grampian Girls youth league games,” commented Shaun Liddle, Head Coach.
