Rescheduled Cup Quarter Final to be played in Aberdeen

The National Youth U16s Cup Quarter Final will be played at Goats Road on Sunday 4th February 2018

The rescheduled National Youth U16s Cup Quarter Final game between Granite City Under 16s and Boroughmuir Under 16s will be taking place at Groats Road on Sunday 4th February at 2:00pm. The game was originally to be played on Sunday 21st January on the 3G pitch at Murrayfield, but was postponed early that day due to the weather.

The Granite City team are looking forward to hosting Boroughmuir in Aberdeen and hopefully progress into the semi finals of the national competition.

If you are free on Sunday afternoon, come along to Groats Road and support the boys.

The other quarter finals took place this past weekend, so this game will decide which team gets that final top four spot in the Under 16’s competition.

The winner of this game in Aberdeen will play the Earlston High School/Melrose Wasps Under 16s team on Saturday 10th February at 2:00pm

The grand final will be played at BT Murrayfield on Sunday 4th March 2018.

Granite City Rugby

Granite City Rugby is a combined effort of Aberdeen Wanderers and Aberdeen Grammar rugby clubs working together to develop youth rugby in the City of Aberdeen. The five youth teams, Under 13, Under 14, Under 15, Under 16 and Under 18 have recently taken part in the Club Youth - Lancer Conference which saw the teams play against Dundee Rugby, Ellon, Gordonstoun School, Mackie and Perthshire twice before Christmas.
