Player Sponsorship is a fun, yet inexpensive way to promote a business or individual, with the monies raised used to assist the provision of playing kit (shorts, socks) and ancillary rugby equipment (pre match attire and training tops) for the player, plus provide assistance to the club.

The benefits to a Player Sponsor include:

Sponsor’s name, link and logo posted on the Players’ profile page on the Club’s website
Sponsor’s name and logo on clubhouse sponsorship board.
Sponsor’s logo on published team sheets with associated player.
Sponsor’s name included alongside ‘Player of the match’ match reports on Club’s website
Invitation to sponsors day at AWRFC.

A Player can be sponsored for the entire season for only £200 – great value!

Sponsoring a Player is a popular way to raise funds for the Club, while supporting a Player to develop their rugby at Aberdeen Wanderers RFC.
