Through the SRU, Aberdeen Wanderers are signed up for the Club Accident Insurance Scheme. This covers players for the mandatory "Catastrophic Injury" cover only.
The club recommends that all players consider sourcing "top up" temporary disablement cover and or additional cover where appropriate to ensure players cover themselves for any inujury they may suffer which would prevent them from working on either a pernament or temporary basis.
If you already have any kind of income protection policy or private medical insurance then check to see if it includes cover for sporting injuries.
If not then various providers can provide policies from as litle as £4.00 a month for basic cover, premiums increasing based on level of cover required.
