Nine members of the club, representing all age groups of players from Micros to Seniors, participated in a Sports Injury Level 1 First Aid course on Sunday 21st January 2018. It was held in the club room at the Jason White Pavilion with instructor Alan Paton from St Andrews Ambulance.

Topics covered included basic life support and resuscitation including use of the defibrillator, management of various sporting injuries and scenarios including head injuries and fractures, management of medical conditions such as asthma and diabetes, and also game/situation management and club guidelines.

Well done to all nine club members for completing the course; thank you for giving your time to support the club in such a useful and practical way.
