Today saw the final day of the UKCC Level 2 rugby coaching course in Aberdeen. 27 attendees, made up of coaches and players from the North East, took the SRU-run course. This was hosted by Aberdeen Wanderers over the past couple of weekends and saw both practical and theory sessions being developed and applied by the attendees.
This course is designed to upskill coaches in the 15-a-side game, which in turn will help develop the players.

This followed on from the UKCC Level 1 course that took place at Hillhead in Aberdeen a few weeks back. The UKCC Level 1 course is focused on coaching children's rugby union (for Primary 4-7 age groups) and 4 Aberdeen Wanderers coaches attended this course too.
